经过教学实践，我真正体会到，在任务型教学中，教师起着语言习得的促进者、答疑者和向导的作用。教师是从“学”的角度来设计教学内容的，学生的活动具有明确的目标指向，具体的操作要求。在各项活动中，学生的大脑始终处于一种激活状态，能引起学生的共鸣和兴趣，整个学习过程都是积极、主动的，他们获得的不仅仅是现成的知识点，还有语言运用的能力。而且随着教学任务的不断深化，学生语言能力的不断提高，整个语言学习的过程会越趋自动化和自主化，学生越能创造性地表达自己的思想。同时，我在教学中也发现了不少局限性和需要改进的地方。例如，完成一项大型的学习任务，需要占用大量的课堂时间，从短期效果看，在同等的时间内可以通过其他方式来帮助学生，取得更大的进步。所以教师如何更新观念，如何合理安排教学进度，如何正确处理能力培养和考试成绩的关系，都是值得探讨的问题。总之，任务型教学是一个舶来品，其产生和发展有其特定的背景和环境，在我国特定的外语教学条件下，广大英语教师要结合我国的实际国情、教情、学情，发挥任务型语言教学的优势，真正提高中学英语的教学质量。
