误区三：听写时老师说中文孩子写英文

很多老师和家长在听写时说中文让孩子写英文词，或者说英文让孩子写中文词，这其实也是一大误区。因为这种训练方式实际上是让孩子借助母语来学英语，结果只能学到一些中国式英语。一个字或词是什么意思，取决于语境或上下文，脱离了语境或上下文，就没有具体的意思。比如，汉语里的 做 有很多意思，在 做蛋糕 中是 制作 的意思，在 做买卖 中是 从事 的意思，在 做好事 中是 干 的意思。如果老师或家长在听写时让孩子写出 做 的英文，那么孩子应该写make呢，还是do?如果孩子写的是make，那应该算对还是错呢?正确的方法应该是，老师或家长说英文，让孩子写英文，这样既训练了孩子的，又训练了孩子英语拼写的能力，还训练了孩子的英语语感，可谓一举几得。

【例】He's an authority on energy sources. 他是能源方面的权威人士。//Your professor should have the authority to get something done about it. 你的教授应该有权让人对此采取措施。

【例】Viruses are inert outside living cells, but within the appropriate cells they can replicate. 病毒在活体细胞外呈惰性，可是在合适的细胞里它们能够复制。
