二、初中阶段英语口语中主要存在的问题

1.学生缺乏练习时间

教师教学任务繁重，缺乏充分让学生练习口语的课堂时间，班级学生人数较多，无法照顾到所有学生，限制了许多学生展示口语的机会。

2.课堂上口语练习的质量不高

由于时间有限，学生在有限的时间内难以拓展思维，深入话题，从而影响口语练习的效果。

3.情绪不够高昂

由于准备仓促，学生总担心会说错，因此，在进行口语表演时声音小，紧张，焦虑，发音不准，常常会影响到口语练习的效果。

4.课下练习口语的时间无法确保

由于学生功课多，压力大，要频繁应付各科作业及考试，加之缺乏语言环境，导致他们根本无暇练习口语。

5.各方面对英语口语的重视程度不够

英语的重要性已经被社会各界所公认，但由于英语考试中没有口语测试这项内容，因此，学生对于口语的练习也就不以为然了。

三、课前小品剧推广的重要性

1.课前小品剧的产生

基于以上所分析的初中英语口语现状，学生普遍存在只会写、不善说的“哑巴英语”现象。因此，在考虑要如何从根本上改变这种现象，开发课外资源，为学生提供更多的口语练习的机会，拓展各种“情景实践”教学资源，开展各种英语活动，让学生在真正地做到学以致用的思索下，课前小品剧产生了。

2.小品剧的特点

（1）培养综合能力，全面发展素质教育。我校的小品剧从角色分配、搜集素材、写剧本、制作道具、剧情配乐到小品剧的演出，都是由学生利用课外时间，与小组共同合作创造出来的，学生真正是小品剧的主人。

（2）短小精悍，内容丰富。课前表演的时间严格控制在5分钟之内，这样既确保了每日的练习口语的时间，又确保了教学时间。而学生将课本中所学的句型，话题进行了合理的重组，延展，想象之后，内容变得更加丰富，富有内涵。

（3）持之以恒，贵在坚持。我们都知道水滴石穿的道理，任何事情其成功的秘诀几乎都与坚持有关。因此，从开学的第一周起，直到学期结束，我们都要求学生每天在课前要有一组小品剧的演出。

（4）注重协调，照顾全局，让每个学生都闪光。学生的成绩及口语表达能力有层次感，有的学生一人便可独挑大梁，口语清晰、流畅，表演游刃有余，而有一大部分学生则胆小，紧张，口音较重，发音不准，一上台就紧张得说不出话来，或是经常出现忘词、冷场的现象。相对于那些口语及表演能力较好的学生而言，这些学生更需要锻炼的机会。因此，刚上初一时老师在分组时有意将这些学生和那些勇于表达自己的学生分在一组，而剧本的每组负责人还有意将台词较多、表演较多的机会让给那些怯于说话的学生，这样长此以往，那些学生在每日的表演中逐渐克服了各种问题，到初二时基本也能说一口流利的口语了。

（5）丰富的评价制度，鼓励为主的表扬手段，大大激发了学生创作剧本的热情，确保了口语的持续，有效练习。为了使学生的辛勤成果得到充分的展现，我们也制订了一系列的评价制度。

①预测性评价和总结性评价。 预测性评价就是在新学期刚刚开始或是一轮的表演刚刚结束之后，由全班学生根据自己和同学以往的表现，先给自己和同学打出个分数，这个结果后由老师在班里公布，这种评价方式符合初中学生争强好胜的心理特点，分数高的学生听到自己的结果后会更加努力，生怕别人赶上自己，而分数较低的学生在听到结果后也毫不示弱，通过集体合作，也一定会有很好的表现。
